Exodus 19:1-20:21 | Ignorance and the need for a mediator

People today will say they wish they could see God or hear His voice. If these same people could ask Israel at Mt. Sinai about this they would be warned that seeing a manifestation of God and hearing His voice is completely terrifying. The idea of seeing God or hearing voice with no consequences is ignorant. The ignorance of God’s people reveals the need for a mediator who would protect them from the anger of a holy God.
