Some have said that the doctrine of reprobation calls the sincerity of gospel preaching into question. The Scriptures are clear, however, that reprobation does not call the the sincere call of the gospel into question. The parable of the sower is an interesting example of what the Reformed mean by sincere gospel preaching and the problem with man’s response to that preaching.
