The Christian life is very frustrating. While Christians enjoy all of the benefits of redemption, at the same time, they struggle with their daily sin. This is the calling of Christians — to struggle with sin, repent of it and turn to Christ. This is what occurred in shadow form in Exodus 33. Israel sins, repents and turns to God through Moses who points to Christ as the final mediator for Israel and Christians today.
