After the fall man and creation became cursed. The curse included the absence of God among men. God, however, promised the Gospel, which included the presence of God in Christ. The fulfillment of God’s promise was in the incarnation. But the fulfillment also includes the new heaven and earth in which God will be fully present forever. In the new heaven and earth there will be no more curse.
