Rahab’s role in helping the Israelite spies demonstrates the ironic nature of the Kingdom of God. While she was known as a lowly prostitute she became an advocate for God glorifying Him. Likewise, Jesus Christ was a lowly man (not a sinner) that no one would suspect to be the Messiah. But His lowliness, through which came the power of God came, was consistent with the ironic nature of the Kingdom of God.
