The site seeks to introduce anyone and everyone to Jesus Christ and His teachings revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and summarized in the Ecumenical Creeds and the Three Forms of Unity. It also seeks to challenge professing Christian people to rethink some of the more popular expressions of the Bible’s teachings in light of how the Bible has been properly understood for centuries.
Our chief desire is that your interest in this website leads you to visit us and our churches, and to join us as we grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Who we are
This website is a cooperative project of three neighboring churches (and their church plants) belonging to the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA). The site’s main contributors are Rev. Adam Kaloostian, pastor of of the Ontario United Reformed Church, meeting in Ontario, CA; Rev. Movses Janbazian, pastor of the Pasadena United Reformed Church, meeting in Arcadia, CA; Rev. Tom Morrison, pastor of the High Desert United Reformed Church, meeting in Apple Valley, CA; and Rev. John Sawtelle, church-planting pastor of All Saints Reformed Church, meeting in Brea, CA.
As this site is not an official URCNA website, strictly speaking the teachings found here do not necessarily reflect those of all of our URCNA churches, ministers, and members. And yet all the site’s contributors stand arm in arm, in like faith together, not only with our fellow URCNA churches, but with all confessional, Reformed churches throughout history and around the world.

Eric This is a very difficult passage. You are correct that Luther and Calvin believed women should wear a head covering in worship as a sign of submission. I am not convinced that this passage deals with public worship, and therefore I am not willin… continue reading »
Jun 29 Eric on The Ten Commandments | part 16: decorum in the worship service
What is your opinions on head coverings? I see that Calvin held that women should cover their heads in church with cloth, and that also goes for Knox, and Luther. I also see that it seems this stance was never really addressed, but just faded away. D… continue reading »
Apr 21 Rev. John Sawtelle on Apostles' Creed

Apr 8 Gary on Chalcedonian Creed
Dear Rev. Sawtelle; Thank you for your clarification. I agree that it is unlikely any URC Consistory would *reject* the Chalcedonian Definition, but that wasn't really my question. The placement of the CD in the list of Ecumenical Creeds offici… continue reading »
