But thank God that Jesus Christ ultimately protects His elect from these false prophets. And there are plenty of false prophets today in churches.

The only way to have peace with God and the only way your heart will change is through Jesus Christ. That’s why His precious blood was shed for you. First God justifies you declaring you righteous and then He changes your heart.
