The disciples who found the empty tomb had an earthly perspective on what had happened to Jesus — they thought He was dead and gone. They had not understood that Jesus said He would be exalted and raised through death. As they began to believe this, by the work of the Holy Spirit, they gained a heavenly perspective. Developing this heavenly perspective on the historical resurrection of Christ will strengthen your faith.

The continuity of faith in Christ in conflict with our post garden narcissism… very van tillian I might add…I enjoyed it very much.
