When Jesus Christ returns on the Final Day, non-Christians will face God’s wrath. But Christians will experience God’s approval, because of Christ’s work on the cross. In response to Christ’s work on the cross and God’s promise of approval on the final day, Christians are motivated to be watchful and self-controlled in this life.
