Joshua 20-21 | God Will Provide

In these chapters you hear about the establishment of cities of refuge and cities in which Levites dwell. In both cases God demonstrates that He provides. But it is obvious that God’s provision in this life is only imperfect and incomplete. That is the way things are in this present world. But in the next world God will provide for Christians fully. Therefore, Christians must put their hope and trust in the cross, which speaks to perfect atonement now, and the future life in which provisions are perfect.
