We are answering the question, “what is the Lord’s Supper?” The answer: It is a meal in which Christ is really present, spiritually speaking. Because He is present by His Spirit, He communicates His body and blood to us so that the meal is a means of grace in which we grow spiritually. The institution of the Lord’s Supper recorded in Matthew 26 gives us this answer.
