Reformed churches as well as other churches practice what is called “fencing the Lord’s Table.” This entails allowing some to the Table and prohibiting others from it. This practice is ordinarily received with howls of protest from Evangelicals. But Paul, in 1 Corinthians 11, makes it clear that the church must carry out this practice for God’s glory and the good of people.
