Most churches today don’t preach the Gospel. They may tell you that you can accept Jesus into your heart but that is not the Gospel. The Gospel is the good news ABOUT Jesus Christ and His work. These churches typically think that Christians know the Gospel so they can move onto other things. Nonsense. Paul in this passage says that the church’s ministry must focus on the Gospel for Christians.
