When Israel traveled through the wilderness they were on a journey to the Promised Land, which typified heaven. It was imperative that Israel keep their eyes on God who appeared to them in the form of the cloud that led them on. In the same way, the church today, as it travels through life to heaven must keep her eyes on Christ.
