If anyone deserves to be rewarded for his good works, it is Abraham. But instead, God tells us that everything Abraham received was because of the promise God made, and was received by faith alone. And more remarkably, we are now told that we too shall receive the same blessing as our father Abraham, and by the same instrument, faith alone.
